The Shure Super 55 deluxe vocal microphone is a striking piece of equipment with its vibrant blue foam and vintage design that is ideal for many different applications. The supercardioid polar pattern does an excellent job of rejecting off-axis sound and delivering a high-gain signal before encountering any interference.       The Shure SM57 is by far the better choice for miking a trumpet, compared to the Shure Super 55..
