Shure

Description

The Shure Super 55 deluxe vocal microphone is a striking piece of equipment with its vibrant blue foam and vintage design that is ideal for many different applications. Shure has built a reputation on creating reliable, excellent-sounding products that are a fantastic value. With its tailored frequency response, the Super 55 does an excellent job at producing clear acoustics for large range of instruments. It also has a uniform, supercardioid polar pattern that helps to isolate the main source and reduce background noise, making it versatile enough to be used in a live or studio setting.

Tailored Acoustics for Versatility

This mic has a tailored frequency response with a wide range of 60Hz–217kHz, which is ideal for natural sounding vocals and speech recordings. The Super 55 does a great job at handling plosive sounds and making sure your voice cuts through the mix well. The supercardioid polar pattern does an excellent job of rejecting off-axis sound and delivering a high-gain signal before encountering any interference. It has a clear tonal range and does well in catching sonic details for a balanced acoustic performance.

Rugged Durability for Versatile Portability

The rugged die-cast metal is created to endure the rigors of gig work and gives this mic a long-lasting life. The Super 55 delivers a full, balanced sound perfect for any instrument, and versatile enough for studio or live application, making it a well-rounded, accessible mic that is made to last. The shock mounted cartridge helps to give you the best control over any mechanical, handling noise.

I absolutely love this mic. I use it for the 50s portion of my Elvis tribute show and it's perfect. Much like other Shure Mics, the quality is fantastic and it is very durable. A little on the heavier side but it's a great mic. Highly Recommend! #sweepstakes
