Drummer here (SE-215CL 2016) I've had the same pair of se215s for about 6 years. Unfortunately, they were in storage for a few years while I was in the military, and I couldn't find them when I unpacked. I got Bose noise canceling earbuds which I expected to be good for $280. They were the most awful fitting earbuds Ive ever had and sound was nothing special. Then got some beats fit pros for $200. Great sound compared to most (including the Bose buds), buttons, battery, and Siri commands actually made sense. Finally found these bad boys a week ago and I almost cried when I heard how perfect and loud they sounded. I missed the return window on the beats so don't know what I'm going to do with them. Also have a Yamaha HPH-MT7W over ear and Sennheiser HD280pro over ears which don't touch these. I'll only keep them to assist with mixing Keep it up Shure
