A 7-ply Maple/Walnut/Padauk neck-thru construction, reinforced with carbon fiber rods for stability and utilizing a spoke-wheel truss rod to facilitate easy adjustment, is mated to a swamp ash body with Ivory binding and topped with flame maple for boutique looks and tone.

Comfort carves in the waist and cutaway as well as an ultra-access carve at the neck joint enable you to explore all 24 Extra Jumbo stainless steel frets across the 25.5-27” multi-scale ebony fingerboard with absolute freedom, while the Fishman Fluence Modern Ceramic and Modern Alnico humbuckers with individual voice controls deliver crushing power into your rig with unprecedented tonal expressiveness. Topping it all off, Schecter Locking Tuners, a graphite nut, and a Hipshot bridge provide an ultra-stable platform to keep you in tune, and the striking finish combination of a Gloss Natural top with Natural Pearl back and sides will be sure to distinguish you from the pack.

    Great for the modern metal guitarist. I explored several 7 string options and the C-7 MS SLS Elite with the Ultra Thin C profile felt so good compared to others that I tested. Only gripe is the abalone inlays on the fretboard are smaller than I'd like but that's whatever.

    After getting used to the fan fret this thing sounds and plays absolutely amazing, I did have to change the strings for drop A tuning though. For the price there is nothing on the market that comes close to the specs you are getting. Stainless steel frets, fishman pickups, locking tuners! Amazing!

    This is by far the best Schecter 7 string and probably the best 7 string I have ever owned. This has the specs of a much higher end guitar. The tone and feel are outstanding. I put it to work immediately tracking an album and it's exceeding my expectations.

    Schecter Guitar Research C-7 MS SLS Elite 7-String Multi-Scale Electric Guitar Gloss Natural Item #:1500000204562 PO #: 113998470 looking at this item I read the description which says this has a Tremelo bridge made by Floyd Rose, but the picture of this guitar shows a fixed non-tremelo bridge - does this have a tremelo or not? Also - where is this guitar made?
