    This kit is not a stain finish as I mistakenly thought when I ordered it based on the description and comments/reviews from others (not sure if this is true for other color finishes as well); it is actually a wrap. The matte red and black finish still do look great though. The two toms and kick sound great as well (rack tom is slightly choked due to bent rims mount, see below). The only issues I had were two gouges in the kick drum (one in the bearing edge and one on the inner shell) and the rack tom rims mount that is bent and doesn't fit on the rack tom so I'm still working on bending it to fit without choking the drum. Got a 10% refund from GC because of the gouges though!

    I have owned this kit for a while now. It sounds really good and has nice shells of great quality. However, the flat black hardware marks very easily, and the coating can come off with light bumps or scratches. It also is very light weight and doesn't seem like it will last forever.

    By hardware they mean the rims. Yes it comes with heads.
