Dual zones provide independent head and rim triggering, while the newly developed sensor system eliminates hot spots for accurate and even response across the entire playing surface of the head.

      I bought this to upgrade the 10" floor tom on my TD-27, and added an extra. While it may seem silly since functionally it doesn't really make a difference, having the feel of a larger floor om goes a long way for feel, which I feel also improves my playing ability. Plays very well!
