collapse expand iconDescription

The Roland KC-990 keyboard amplifier provides keyboardists and electronic musicians with a robust 320 watts of power and Roland's renowned sound quality. This amplifier offers four channels, allowing you to shape your tone with EQ, reverb and multi-effects. The KC-990 is ideal for small to mid-sized venues, rehearsals and recording sessions.

Four Independent Channels Provide Ultimate Flexibility

The KC-990 features four channels, each with a 1/4" input for connecting keyboards, synthesizers or other electronic instruments. You can shape your tone on each channel using the dedicated 3-band EQ, reverb level control and multi-effects selector.

Powerful Multi-Effects and Reverb

Each channel on the KC-990 provides a variety of built-in multi-effects like chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo, rotary and more. The onboard reverb allows you to add ambiance to your sound.

XLR Main Outputs and Monitor Mixer

In addition to the 1/4" main outputs, the KC-990 provides two balanced XLR main outputs for connecting to a mixing console or PA system. You can also connect monitors to the 1/4" monitor outputs.

Additional Features

Other useful features on the KC-990 include a headphone output with its own volume control, and line inputs for connecting MP3 players, drum machines or other line level devices. The rugged cabinet construction and durable steel grill provide reliable protection for critical components.

This amp made my Nord Piano 5 sound like an acoustic grand piano I doubt if you closed your eyes and played a peace of music on an acoustic then the Nord you could tell the difference! This amp is not to big to practice with in your home, studio etc, if your looking for that full sound then this is the amp for you, easy to maneuver as it comes with caster wheels, delivered in excellent condition and is very appealing to the eyes, if you travel with this amp it has grab handles on each end and with two people it's a cinch to lift, I hope this helps in making your decision

Needed a replacement keyboard amp/monitor for stage performance. Sounds great and has plenty of inputs. Would love to see a phantom power for the microphone input. Also, the Rotary (Leslie) effect is not quite as good as an actual Leslie amp. '

Very powerful amp with clean keyboards sounds. I'm thinking of adding the subwoofer to catch the lows. Great amp for the price.

It's Roland thinking to make an amp like the kc900 but instead of 2 12 speakers make them 2 15 speakes?

I doubt it. No one other than bass players uses a 2 x 15.

i noticed the kc600 has 1 x 15" woofer and the kc 990 has 2 x 12's ....so im wondering if the 600 has a fuller lower range sound maybe ??.....im not sure how that works...i heard a 600 at a shop and REALLY liked the low end sounds coming out of it so i was wondering if the 990 can deliver the low end range as well ,,,, i havent found any in shops to listen to and im hesitating buying without a lil more input,,,,thanks

I'd go with the KC600. There is a big difference between 2x12' and a 15" in regard to lows. A 15" moves more air
