Description

The Roland CUBE-30X Guitar Combo Amplifier expands the famous Roland CUBE amp lineup. With great features such as Power Squeezer for maximum sustain without maximum volume, a mini-jack aux in for playing along to MP3 and CD players, recording out, and that incredible CUBE sound, this little Roland combo amp is built to rock!

The CUBE 30X also has some of Roland's most popular guitar effects built-in: Dyna amp (changes tone based on picking style), metal, classic, stack, tweed, brit combo, black panel, acoustic simulator, flanger, phaser, tremolo, chorus, delay and reverb.

Roland also builds a convenient onboard tuner into the CUBE 30X amp.

A beast in a box!

I just bought this amp after hearing good reviews about it, and they were right! If you're wanting to buy a small combo amp for your dorm or apartment but still want the amazing sound of the higher-end amps and stacks, this is perfect for you! This thing gets really loud without losing any clarity, so you don't get that fuzziness. You definitely can do small gigs with this amp since it's sound awesome but is very portable. And with all the effects, you can get just about any sound you're looking for. I sold my Digitech RP200 and Boss AC2 because I no longer need them. I am very happy about my purchasing decision and would recommend this amp to anyone.

Onboard effects issue?

Be onboard effects stopped working (so the lights arent going on either) after about 18 months of occasional use. The amp itself still works. anybody have any ideas what to do about this?

    I bought this a little of a year ago from my local guitar shop when i first started playing. It is the ideal amp to buy for starters! it has alot of basic features to play all sorts of stuff and some pretty cool effects. its even loud enough to jam with others. it may be small, but its got more power to it than you may think. it also has an auxilalry input so you can play along with the music your learning to play making it convinient to learn songs. If your just starting to play guitar and need a starting amp, then definitely buy this one.

    I have had a Roland 30x cube amp for about 9 months and I LOVE IT!!!! There are great effects, and you can get it to go quite loud. I haven't had any problems with it at all so far. It's a very cool amp thought because you can hook your iPod up to it and then you can play along to songs or you can just use it as a speaker....... so with this amp you get tons of tones and sounds all in 1 amp!! IT'S GREAT!!

    i got this for my second amp and i was friggin'amazed i use it with my dean evo xm and it sounds beautiful i play alot of megadeth, 3 days grace, metallica,etc and this does the trick. if you are thinking about getting this amp get it dont think about it get it!!!

    Well, what can i say? this amp is absolutely amazing. The effects sound great. the clean channel is awesome! there is a built in tuner. distortion well there great! there are i believe 4. and the clean surprised me by being excellent. This is great for practice amp, new players, even small gigs that i have used for, even though you can't plug in a stack doesn't meen anything. this little thing can out power a marshall stack! the volume can get intesnse which can easily fill up a small hall and or talent show. it's perfect for people who live in apperntments dorms or small houses. so now that you had my review, do what ever you wish. but if you had been looking for a good amp, HERE IT IS!

    I have used this particular amp for I think 3 years now. It's the best amp I have ever played on. I love to play a lot of KISS and Metallica, and this amp gets the right tone for that and more. I even use the Micro Cube in jazz class at school. That little 5 watt can get over the horns, the drums, the bass... It's a great amp! If you are thinking about buying this amp, do it. You'll get your moneys worth for sure.
