Open Box Reverend Pete Anderson Signature Eastsider S Electric Guitar Level 1 Satin Black

Description
First things first—the korina body is chambered, a noticeable weight reduction that improves resonance. The neck and fretboard are both made of rich, roasted maple. The fretboard has a compound radius which gets flatter as it moves up, a definite plus when it comes to soloing. Anderson spec'd his Eastsider S with dual Talnico single-coil pickups. The neck position Talnico has traditional T-style tone with extra punch and clarity. The bridge position is closer to a vintage pickup, but with a thicker twang that isn't harsh. A push/pull Studio switch selects the neck and bridge pickups together for a total of 7 pickup combinations.
Add graceful-to-powerful vibrato with the Wilkinson WVS50 IIK trem. Stainless steel saddles, pin-lock tuners and a Boneite nut all contribute to keeping the Eastsider S in tune when the arm returns to neutral. The Vari-Claw gives you the option of using either 2 or 3 springs to dial in your favorite feel.
Other features include a Pure Tone jack, angled neck heel, custom embossed knobs, treble-bleed circuit and a hand-signed, initialed headstock.

This guitar is very well built. If you look at the description, and all of it's attributes, and the tone, this guitar stands out to me among the many other T style guitars I've owned over the years. The electronics are great, and the neck has such a great feel to it. The fret ends are smooth and the setup was very good right from the start. This guitar has the Neck tone of a Strat as well as both of the "quack" positions, but it has the Bridge pickup of a Tele with a little extra sizzle. The push/pull pot also adds an extra set of tones that I've only heard on something like a Jaguar/Jazzmaster type of guitar. The tremolo is excellent and the guitar stays in tune when you you use it, locking tuners are also a big plus. This is a very unique and versatile instrument. It's built for Country and Blues, but it handles Rock very well, the bridge pickup sounds amazing with heavy gain and the tone rolled back. It also cleans up well, the treble bleed is an excellent addition.

It's a keeper. Build and attention to detail is very nice. Nicer than my MIM Fenders. It plays great. Frets are perfect and ends are smooth. I love the compound radius neck and larger frets. And it stays in tune better than any of my other guitars. Set up out of box was perfect. Looks great too. I have to say I am impressed and I am seriously considering what my next Reverend guitar will be. Tone/sound is gritty yet articulate and defined. It's a Tele, but more than a Tele. Pickups are a little hotter with a bit of growl. Definitely not typical vintage Tele style pickups. Cody from Musicians Friend was a really big help in making this purchase and I appreciate him going above and beyond to help.
