Open Box Protec MAX Violin Case Level 1 1/2 Size

I recently ordered the 4/4 size case for my violin. I read the review that said, "My violin does not fit in this case! Buyer beware!" I said, "This guy made a mistake and ordered a 3/4 for his full-sized violin, and that's why it won't fit." So much for not believing the reviews. So now there are TWO people telling you: Your violin will NOT fit in this case! The design is faulty. They do not have a space scooped out for the tailpin, and the inside is molded, so the violin literally will not fit into the space. It's a shame, because the case is well-padded and well-constructed, but what good is this if your instrument won't fit in it? If there were an option for zero stars, that's what this case would get, because I had to return it and buy a different one.

I was excited to purchase this lightweight case with optional backpack straps since I've been carrying a heavy single shoulder case for years. Sadly, neither my violin nor my bow fit! The bow section was too short as was the violin. Buyer beware.
