Nice, convenient light

This light is great. I play a lot in dark settings and this does a great job of lighting up my sheet music. I love the portability and the fact that it's rechargeable. The build quality doesn't feel cheap either.

I would never buy again

I bought this as a replacement for the previous version of this lamp end-of February, 2022. It barely lasted 4 months, and died just before show time - thankfully, the pianist had a couple spare lamps. It never really held a a proper charge, The power supply cord is barely the length of a music stand. The mini USB input, and power supply input on the lamp are very poorly constructed/flimsy and, stopped working properly, btw. Whomever designed this is obviously not even remotely thinking about musicians, beginner, student, pro, or otherwise. The prior version of this lamp was great. Unfortunately, I left it at a venue and, of course, it disappeared. The construction, and power supply on the previous version was good, and the cord was very long. Bottom line, complete waste of money and time. If you need a decent lamp, spend $10-20 more with another manufacturer.

Thing worked great when I first took it out of the box. Then never turned on again. Exactly as others have said, the charging LED turns on as if it is charging, but does not turn on.

Bought it in December for rehearsals in a poorly lighted room. Used it twice, loved it. Took off for the winter and started using again in mid-April. It failed after one additional usage, total three times. Battery charges up but light will not turn on. Suspect the small wires going through multiple hinges broke, but no way to tell. Ordered a goose neck clip on to replace it, not as many LEDs but more durable design.
