Cheap, but gets the job done

This is a nice mic stand to have in a small studio, your bedroom, etc.. and its ok for live shows. Its not the highest quality, and it tends to wobble if you bump it too hard, but its a good stand for the money.

hmmm...

The stand does not fit very well into the base. I thought it was secure and attached a tablet holder. Since it wasn't as secure as I thought, after a few minutes the stand fell over and broke my brand new tablet holder. Since I've just about pulled a muscle screwing the stand into the base it seems secure now, but I'm constantly worried it isn't as well screwed as I hoped and that it will fall again, maybe breaking my iPad and falling onto a guitar.

    It is a mic stand that simply works. It takes minimal space on a crowded stage but the base is still heavy enough to keep things stable.

    I messed up and wrote a one star earlier. Thought the pipes weren't included because they weren't shipped with the base. All good now, these are great and sturdy.

    This very clearly looks to include the middle pipe and does not. Very disappointing for the price. Also a few pounds heavier than they need to be unless you plan to keep the mic stand in the same spot for a whole event.

    What mics does this work for? I have a Rode NT USB mic but idk if this only works for XLR mics I'm new to this so I have no clue. I just wanna get the right stand

    It's a universal stand and will work with almost any mic. However it will not work for a table-top mic.
