Pioneer DJ

Description

Developed in conjunction with working DJs, the HDJ-X7 professional DJ headphones feature redesigned, 50 mm drivers that deliver clean monitoring—even at high volumes. Pioneer also designed the HDJ-X7 headphones to stand up to the use and abuse only a professional DJ can dish out; with their tough metal components and robust swivels, these cans boast MIL-SPEC durability.

All the ruggedness in the world is useless to a professional DJ if a set of headphones aren't comfortable, so Pioneer made sure the HDJ-X7s give you exceptional comfort for those marathon sets in the club, onstage, or in the home studio. To help you find the perfect fit, these pro-grade DJ headphones feature a flexible headband and flexible swivels. The housing design reduces pressure on your head, while its outside texture enhances grip.

When you're DJing in a loud club or festival environment, you need headphones that provide great sound isolation while producing powerful, tight bass and clean highs. The Pioneer HDJ-X7 headphones provide all that—and more—thanks their oversized drivers, bass-reflex chambers and large padded ear cups.

If you're a DJ, good headphones are a necessity, not a luxury. Try out a pair of Pioneer HDJ-X7s and see what you've been missing.

i'm not a dj but I like these headphones a lot

The lining in my trusty Sennheisers started coming so I though, I'll get some new headphones! I've been using Sennheisers for ten years now and they're great, but I wanted to try something new. I bought these because I thought headphones for DJ's are probably good headphones. The guy at Guitar Center was actually trying to not sell them which was weird. He said the bass would be boosted a lot, which they are but without losing any of the crisp highs. I'm listening to jazz music now and the mids are great too. I can hear everything going on but the bass is awesome. They make me want to be a DJ and get all sweaty they're so unbreakable-seeming too.

They don't last.

Make sure to get the insurance. I'm burning thru these every two months. The wire disconnects and only one side works. I'm a busy full time dj and I take care of my gear.

Purchased this Jan. 2022. Bought the 36 mo. warranty through GC. They said if it started to break at all or any wear, I could bring it back for a new one. Fast forward 40 months & leather is starting to pill. Still work great but I guess everything is made to break now a days.

I use these headphones with a headphone amplifier and my phone or tablet. The sound is very good and will get better after they have had some hours put through them. I've had them less than a week. They seem very durable and are quite comfortable. It's necessary to move the bows of my glasses above my ears to provide a better seal. Which is true with all headphones, IMO. Overall, I'm very pleased with them.
