Received this as a birthday gift today. I'll be returning it tomorrow. It's pretty straight forward to assemble but the instructions are useless. The pieces have a poor finish and fit together poorly requiring some finesse with assembly. It isn't even close to sitting flat on the floor. The instructions claim to have shims that can be installed under the feet to compensate however the pieces that appeared to be those shims are smaller than the inside diameter of the tubing so they were useless. 1 of the 4 bolts used to secure the seat to the base was randomly longer than the other three which prevented the seat from rotating when installed. The seat itself only has an inch or less of actual padding and wouldn't be comfortable for any long period of time. Don't waste your time and money on this thing.

  • Assembly Instructions were poor and some parts were missing.

The product will be used when practicing guitar. Once assembled the stool seems sturdy enough and quite functional. I had to manually spread one leg pipe to permit the leg assembly to attach to the large ring with the hardware provided. There was no indication in the instructions where the four white washers should go on the hardware attaching the legs to the large ring. The shims that were mentioned in the instructions were missing from the plastic bag containing the hardware. Fortunately they were not required.

Looks great! Just as advertised. The assembly was a little tricky, it was hard to get the ring to attach to the legs. Not so straightforward but I eventually got it and I'm happy with it.

It looks great and it's a good size but it was hard to assemble the ring to the stool legs and the screws that it came with aren't long enough to attach the seat. I had to buy longer ones at the hardware store
