Pearl

Description

The Pearl Quickmount tambourine is a must-have for any percussionist, boasting premium components and a convenient mounting system, this tambourine delivers a crisp, bright jingle with each strike. The Quickmount tambourine features eight pairs of nickel-plated steel jingles for a cutting tone that cuts through any mix. This tambourine provides a lightweight yet rigid frame for the jingles, with a durable finish that withstands the rigors of live performance or studio use.

Professional-Grade Jingles

At the heart of this tambourine are premium nickel-plated steel jingles that produce a crisp, shimmering tone. The jingles are securely mounted with each pair tuned to the same pitch for a balanced, evenly dispersed jingle. These high-quality jingles are built to last through years of playing, with a bright, projecting tone that suits any style of music.

Convenient Quickmount System

Pearl's Quickmount system makes it easy to attach the tambourine to a hi-hat or other cymbal stand during playing for hands-free operation. A sturdy clamp attaches securely to most stands, with an adjustable linkage that allows you to position the tambourine at the perfect height and angle. When not in use, the Quickmount disengages from the clamp in seconds for easy storage in the included carrying bag.

Nice solid unit. Excellent sound. Not louder than others but loud enough without mic. What tops it is the fact that it's accessibility to grab it from the mount to play it by hand and place it back. Its weight and mount designs doesn't allow the unit to bounce loose. The rubber trim that protects the rim gives a warmer tone compared to other tambourines with steel jingles, eliminating that plastic 'clacking' sound.

I mount the tambourine below my cymbals. Quick access. The sound projects well to the existing microphones with no need for an additional mic.

The sound is great and can be used both for your percussion set as well on your own. Because it is so useful and durable its a great one time purchase that I will not have too worry about replacing for a long time.
