    I've played Zildjian cymbals for over 20 years and recently tried Paiste Signatures. I fell in love with them immediately. These hi hats are the best. Great controlled sound. The only negative is actually Guitar Center. They have shipped 4 different sets to me because of damage caused during shipping to the hi hats. If you can get them direct from Paiste, I would recommend that.

    if you are looking for a definitive dark sounding pair of hi hats, look no further, because these are the best pair of hi hats i have ever played. They have the perfect balance of cut and dark crunch. They have an amazingly smooth chick sound. and wen played slightly open, a wonderful fuzz. These hats are great for jazz, and also great for rock! this is the pair of hi hats i felt i've been looking for my whole life. GC is a bit pricey, so maybe u can find a cheaper on Ebay or something. compromising on sound, is NOT doing yourself or anyone else a favor. thats why i play Paiste.
