Control Surface With Advanced Faders for Precise Level Adjustments

The Launch Control XL 3 features eight 60 mm faders that provide fine-grained control over your DAW's mixer or custom-mapped parameters. The extended fader travel ensures accurate adjustments, whether you're balancing track levels, automating effects or shaping dynamics. Each fader is designed for a smooth, tactile feel, making it easy to execute precise changes during live performances or intricate studio sessions. This level of detail enhances your ability to craft polished mixes with confidence and accuracy.

Endless Encoders With Visual Feedback

This controller's 24 endless rotary encoders are perfect for tasks like panning, adjusting effects sends or controlling plug-in parameters. Each encoder is paired with an RGB LED that dynamically reflects its current position, offering instant visual feedback during use. The smooth action of the encoders ensures responsive and accurate tweaks, while the visual indication helps maintain focus, even in low-light environments. These encoders simplify complex parameter adjustments, giving you real-time control over your sound design.

Customizable Buttons and Transport Controls

The Launch Control XL 3 includes 16 assignable buttons, arranged in two banks of eight, that can be programmed to solo, mute, arm or trigger other functions within your setup. Dedicated transport controls for play, stop and record eliminate the need to rely on a mouse or keyboard, keeping your workflow uninterrupted. These versatile controls enhance your ability to focus on performance and composition, ensuring fluid transitions between creative tasks. With programmable functionality, these buttons adapt to your unique workflow requirements.

Stand-Alone Hardware Integration With MIDI I/O

Equipped with 5-pin MIDI In, Out and Out2/Thru ports, this model connects directly to hardware synths, drum machines and effects units, making it ideal for hybrid setups. The standalone functionality allows you to work without a computer, powering the device via USB-C while controlling external gear. I bought this to replace the older version. What sets this apart it makes this so much better is there a tiny little LCD screen. Why is it microscopic LCD screen so valuable? I use custom templates for my synthesizers in this allows me to set up about 15 custom setups. The LCD screen allows me to see what exactly I am controlling with each knob and slider and let's be known what template I'm currently working in. In the last generation it was really frustrating to use this for hardware but now with the new midi outputs and input it really is a breeze definitely recommend it. I haven't used this on a DAW so can't speak to it but I'm sure would be just as good for computers.
