Good guitar for beginners, decent sound and is a good guitar for starters or beginners.

When I brought it home from the Guitar Center store I put new light gauge strings on it and the action is lower than ever with no fret noise. This guitar stays in tune which I check with the onboard tuner. I highly recommend this Mitchell guitar.

I LOVE the Auditorium body , the sound is warm and strong. even tones between the high strings and the low strings. the body creates great sustain.

Actually I bought a previous version of this model. I was attracted by the price and view but when I got to my closest shop the instrument I found there didn't inspire me. It had a "gap" on trebles. Since I needed a guitar I just started to try all instruments in the demo room that were cheaper than $1K. It was a guitar center Raleigh so I had a plenty of items there. I got clockwise and the first Mitchell guitar was close to start point, right after door. When I got to the door from the other side I grabbed one more instrument and was impressed by full sound with great clear frequency response and sound feeling (you can fill vibrations even by your left hand). The only thing - the strings were too high. I looked at the manufacturer and found that it is just the same type of Mitchell I wanted initially. Since I tried all instruments I didn't pay attention to makes. I didn't buy it that day but on the next I got back and made it. After that I had several iterations of adjustment, frets and saddle polishing and anchor fitting. The guitar needs a work to be comfortable for playing. Finally I'm using one for 5 years and recently started to look for replacement. And still couldn't find the better sound and filling even though the upper threshold now is 1.5K. The only thing that makes me unhappy the frets are quite thin and some of them are pretty worn now, and replacement can cost more than this guitar. So you can find a great instrument but don't buy it online. You have to try it and decide the sound is good for you and the manufacturing defects can be adjusted without expensive operations.

The battery drains super fast. It got to the point that I stopped using the built-in tuner. It's useless. The buzzing noise on the B string is annoying. It started buzzing on the B string. I thought it was the string that needed to be replaced. Unfortunately, it did not help. I could figure out the problem, which was the neck. After the neck adjustment, it did not sound like it was supposed to. Very frustrated, I needed to bring it to the shop to have someone look at it.
