Description

The Fillmore 25 Tube Head from Mesa/Boogie joins the award-winning Fillmore 50 with a compact 6V6 format. With a power range packed with traditional tones from clipped cleans to a purring grind, the Fillmore 25 features expressive gain presented in a simple 2-channel, 3-mode platform. While this class of amp used to be only for practicing and recording, the Fillmore 25 offers the versatility to handle any style, true portability and lush vintage all-tube spring reverb with independent channel controls. Still with the original Boogie-sized footprint, the 25-watt Fillmore helps you shape old school tone to fit your sound.

    Very impressed with the Fillmore 25. I wanted the 25 as opposed to the 50 because I wanted the warmth of the 6v6s over the 6l6s. I've owned a DRRI as well as a Princeton Reverb, and to my ear, the Fillmore 25's cleans are superior to Fender's, comparing these amps with similar tube arrangements. The dirty channels are useable as well, but they were not the reason I purchased this head.

    Another home run from Boogie! Delivers an incredible range of sounds with all the warmth of the 6v6's. Love this amp!
