The Little Mark Vintage 58R bass amp head from Markbass gives you vintage tube tone and modern features in a lightweight, portable package. Designed for serious bassists seeking rich, warm vintage tone and flexibility, this 500-watt amp head is ideal for any style.

Vintage Tube Tone

At the heart of the Little Mark Vintage's tone is an all-tube preamp section with a 12AX7 tube. This gives your bass signal a warm, harmonically rich character with smooth overdrive when you push the gain. You can dial in the perfect amount of tube warmth and grit using the amp's gain and limiter controls. The limiter also allows you to shape the amp's dynamic response for a modern or vintage feel.

A Limiter Control Provides Vintage Grit or Modern Clarity

The Little Mark Vintage 58R gives you a limiter control to adjust the amp's dynamic response. Turn the control up for a clean, modern limiting effect or turn it down for vintage-style distortion. The limiter control lets you find the perfect blend of vintage grit and modern clarity to suit your needs.

A 4-Band EQ Provides Useful Presets

Shape your tone with the Little Mark Vintage 58R's 4-band EQ, which features bass, mid low, mid high and treble controls. The EQ also includes three useful presets: Flat for an uncolored tone, Cut to scoop the mids and boost lows and highs and Old to roll off the highs for a darker vintage sound. The presets make it easy to quickly access classic bass tones.

A DI Output and Mute Switch Offer Convenience

The Little Mark Vintage 58R provides a balanced DI output with a level control to send your tone directly to front-of-house mixers and recording interfaces. A Pre/Post EQ switch lets you send the DI signal before or after the EQ. A footswitchable mute switch allows for silent tuning on stage. The DI out and mute switch add convenience for performing and recording bassists.

Thoughtfully Designed

The Little Mark Vintage's front panel provides an intuitive layout with all controls within easy reach. It includes a mute switch for silent tuning or switching basses and an optional footswitch to remotely activate the mute function or turn the EQ on and off. Markbass's proprietary power amp technology provides plenty of clean headroom and a fast, tight bass response. An eco-friendly design and durable, lightweight construction round out this vintage-flavored amp head built for the working bassist. Plug into the Little Mark Vintage 58R and experience rich tube tone and modern functionality in a portable powerhouse.

Excellent amp and very easy to use. Very simple to dial in quick and usable tones. I love the old setting as well as the middle option. Sometimes I switch basses and this gives me the ability to plug and play. I bought it with the intention of using as a backup/compliment to my Mesa WD-800, since it takes some work to EQ each bass but this seems likely to be a primary due to ease of use. I can't speak to the quality yet, but it seems well made, in line with other MB products I have used in the past. I have it paired with Mesa Subway cabinets and it sound deep, full, and has excellent clarity. A big win for me and added convenience when I don't want to spend time dialing in a great sound and need it quickly.
