Description

The Armory Series by Mapex features a 6-ply birch and maple that outputs a warm, focused tone. SONIClear bearing edge allows the heads to sit flat and increase shell resonance. Mapex Saturn IV-style lugs ensure a firm tune while providing a low-mass aesthetic.

In addition, all Armory shell packs include the 14" x 5-1/2" Tomahawk Black-Plated Steel Snare. The Tomahawk produces a bright, focused and loud backbeat and adds style to all Armory shell packs.

      Nice build quality. Liked the tomahawk snare. It has a bell like quality. I already have a vintage Ludwig metal snare so I opted for the exterminator wood snare. Maple birch with walnut on outer ply. This snare sounds better than it looks and it looks beautiful. The armory series found very warm and resonant with no weird overtones. The bearing edge is the main reason I was interested in these. When I put new evans heads on I really appreciated how the bearing edge makes the process almost impossible to screw up. Love these drums. Same build quality on a us made kit would cost 3 or 4 times as much.

      Does this set come with hardware?

      I’m sorry but no. Shell packs are only the drums. There is no hardware, cymbals or pedals included

      Are the shown stands that the 10 & 12 inch toms are mounted to included with Product #J04249? What other hardware is included? Bass pedal?

      The mounted toms are included. However, it doesn't come with anything else.

      This kit does have the mounting hardware for the toms and the snare. However, no other hardware is included.
