to call this a 1600 watt amp is a lie. it is 2 800 watt amps, however you get nothing out of the monitor side unless you use powered speakers. well powered speakers work without an amp so what a joke. you cannot bridge the two 800 watt amps so the most you get out of this mixer is 800 watts no matter what you do.

I use this head for all of my live shows. It is extremely powerful, light, and easy to use. Most of my gigs are with a jazz trio, and this head gives us plenty of head room. It works exactly as advertised and I would recommend it to anyone doing club work, corporate events and private parties.
