I would buy these again!

This was a great addition to my home studio. In addition to putting out great sound from my keyboards, they also connect via bluetooth to all the music on my iPhone - so I can play the keyboard along with the music on my phone through the monitors at the same time. And I can just use them as extra bluetooth speakers too without the keyboard. #sweepstakes

Good monitors, but....

I'm sure these are great monitors for the price. They just don't work well with the Yamaha modx88+. I get a lot of distortion at the low end. I plan on upgrading to a better monitor.

Purchased for my Dads DJ set for Christmas. These were perfect for his needs. Pretty good sound quality for the price point and easy to setup. Would purchase again.

I upgraded from the cr3xbt to these and I am only mad that I didn't just buy these first. Nice full sound and more bass than I expected honestly, while still providing clear mids and highs. Very neutral sound. Extremely pleased!

I have a set of Mackie CR4 not BT set up in the office for my pod go. Got the CR5BT to be able to play to backing tracks using Bluetooth from my phone or tablet. Sounds fuller than the CR4 because of the bigger speakers and they work great. So now I have 2 places in the house I can plug in and play.

I've read a lot of reviews on Amazon that say that there's a constant hiss from the tweeters all the time. Is this just a case of unbalanced signals or low-quality cables that come with the units? (E.g., is this something I could solve by using balanced TRS inputs?) Or is the hiss just always there?

    Open Reply - Thomas
It's not an issue I'm aware. There can be any number of user related reasons for a hiss.
