Description

    This is a great bag. Fits my Meinl Doumbek perfectly and plenty of padding for protection.

    I bought this bag for my My Meinl Doumbek. Upon arrival I was impressed with the look and the quality. but once I tried to fit the Doumbek in it, the base felt a too tight ( way more than it should be). Finally I managed to fit the drum in. after the second gig, I noticed a rip at the base of the bag were the zipper and the material meets. Due to stretch caused by the size of the drum in the over tight bag. The guitar center took it back and sent me a new one. I tried the bag, Same over tight fit. and this time the zipper broke just out of the box. I would suggest Meinl to make the base of this bag an inch larger then it deserves a 6 Star.

    ...like...if you own the doumbek then this bag is more than a necessity...the padding is fantastic along with the way it is loaded into the bag...the sling gives yet another option to carry the doumbek there is no other bag to have for the doumbek to keep it safe and happy during transport a heavily built bag worthy zippers...dont let your doumbek live without this bag...

    The Meinl Doumbeks are 17" tall, 8 1/2" head (which is 11" edge to edge) and 7 3/8" base so it's a comfortable fit.
