    this snare got me thinking how can a Ludwig maple snare be so inexpensive? i got a 14x6.5 green sparkle snare drum that looks killer under the light and sounds better than it looks. of course you might want to switch heads but even like that, when tuned correctly, it has this nice warm open sound and the triple flanged hoops makes the rim shots sound amazing. this is a very good snare for the price. i highly recommend it!
