KRK ROKIT 5 G4 5" Powered Studio Monitor (Each)

Description
The KRK ROKIT 5 G4 5" powered studio monitor produces high-definition audio engineered for critical listening. KRK Systems is renowned for crafting professional-grade studio equipment, and their ROKIT line is a testament to their expertise. Now in its fourth generation, the ROKIT 5 G4 monitor delivers a transparent sonic signature, wide sweet spot and deep low end that's ideal for music production, mixing and mastering.
Bi-amped Class-D Amplifier for Pristine Sound
At the heart of the ROKIT 5 G4 is a bi-amped Class-D amplifier that separately powers its tweeter and woofer for minimal distortion and maximum headroom. The result is a clear, articulate sound over a wide frequency range.
1" Soft-dome Tweeter and 5" Woofer
The ROKIT 5 G4 is equipped with a 1" soft-dome tweeter and 5" glass-aramid woofer for a balanced frequency response with tight, impactful bass, smooth mids and crisp, detailed highs. The woofer's aramid fiber construction produces rich low end without breakup or muddiness.
Multiple Inputs and Controls
With balanced XLR and 1/4" TRS inputs, the ROKIT 5 G4 seamlessly integrates into any studio setup. It also provides volume, low-frequency and high-frequency level controls for easy adjustment and room tuning.
Sleek Design and Cabinetry
Sporting a sleek, rugged design, the ROKIT 5 G4's cabinet is constructed of MDF with a durable vinyl finish. It utilizes a front-ported bass reflex design for extended low-end response and a wider sweet spot. Rubber feet provide electrical grounding and acoustic isolation. The ROKIT 5 G4 is a professional studio monitor that looks as good as it sounds.

Better than the 7's!
I have a small well acoustically treated room. I exchanged a couple of 7's for a couple of 5's, finding the 7's a bit too big for my small studio. I was pleasantly surprised to find not only that the bass sounded tighter than the 7's, but the difference in hiss was remarkable. The 7's have a mild hiss typical of other monitors. But the 5's had little to no hiss at all, I'm guessing due to the smaller tweeter amp. The 7's sounded awesome, no knocking the 7's, but the 5's sounded even better. I'm sure things would be different in a different room or with different tastes. But for me, these 5's fit the bill perfectly!

Great when they work
I use these monitors when I produce electronic music. Great response, but a few months after having them one of the monitors shorted out. I have not moved them once. I expected the monitors to last a little longer than a few months?

I use this product as monitors for stage appearances. Very powerful and clear. you can hear everything clearly and it's very durable with easy hooks up to anything practically. Looks great and stands out of the way but still performs like it's not there. Love it.
