I bought this case as a replacement for some older straight tenors I take out on gigs. The cases I had were very heavy (wooden) and not in very good shape anymore. This case is nice and light. It has good backpack stapes. The padding inside is not as nice as I had hoped, but I think it is going to work. The area where the slide goes is a pretty nice design and holds the slide securely. There is some adjustability to the area that holds the bell section. It is working for my Conn, Bach, and King. The design flaws that I am a bit concerned about is that the various compartments are held in place by pretty flimsy material pieces with Velcro to hold them shut. This seems like something that will fail sooner than I would like for this price point. Overall I am happy with it and would recommend it.
