The iRig BlueTurn features two silent footswitches that illuminate for visibility in low light. Easily trigger page turns, scrolling, arrow keys and more using the footswitches and free up your hands to play your instrument or engage your audience. Three modes – Page Up/Page Down, Arrow Up/Down and Arrow Left/Right – provide customizable control over your content.

Works but...

I bought this during a GuitarCenter invitation sale. It does work. Connecting can be tricky but no worse than most Bluetooth devices. Once connected, it stays connected. I wanted to use this for displaying lyrics while playing my guitar but its too difficult to use while standing. Might work better while sitting but thats not my style. The BlueTurn's buttons are set relatively high and they require a firm press to activate. The buttons are too high to simply rest your toe on. You have to lift your foot up to press a button. If your toe happens to miss, you can easily flip the entire device over on its back. This can cause panic on your part while hilarity ensues for the audience. So, here's the activation sequence... 1) remove your eyes from your tablet to find the BlueTurn. 2) Lift foot while still singing and playing... kinda like rubbing your belly while patting your head. 3) Stab toe at BlueTurn button and hope your page turns. 4) Stab again because you missed the first time. 5) Try to find your place on the newly turned page. 6) Stab again because you passed over the page. Now do all this and include steps 1, 2 and 5 for every screw up. Be prepared to fake it if the BlueTurn flips or you lose your patience. For me, its best use is for practicing... that's where it really shines.

Works but not recommended for anything other than practice

Works OK with Ultimate Guitar. It takes a few seconds to get going in each song, though. The deal breaker for me was when the batteries got low it would cause my tablet to go from sheet music back to the song list. That's OK if you're learning stuff at home or maybe jamming with friends. In front of an audience, though, it's a bad thing.

    I use this with an iPad to change the pages in ultimate guitar sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes I cannot get it to connect. Whenever it connects, it works fine, but getting it to connect is the trouble.

    This newer style pedal works so much better for me than my older one. I love using 2 AAA batteries instead of charging and the illuminated blue light is awesome too! I highly recommend this for those who read lyrics while playing. Sometimes my "swipes" never swiped because of my calluses! Bravo AirTurn Bravo!!!

    I use the Pages app to create and store my lyrics. This device does not work with Pages. I had to export each document as PDF into the device's app. However, the device works as advertise, pages up,down,left, right. Very portable and easy to use.
