Gretsch Guitars

Description

This limited-edition G5237TG Electromatic Jet FT electric guitar is a pure and powerful instrument that's bold, dynamic and articulate, and crafted with essential Gretsch sound, style and playability.

Pure Jet Power

In its 65 year existence, the Gretsch Jet has been the hallmark sound for iconic players. The G5237TG Electromatic Jet FT FSR captures that essential Jet power and fidelity at an incredible price.

Chambered Mahogany Bodies—Loud and Clear

Classic Jet tone begins with a chambered mahogany body and a maple top that produces full lows and mids with an exceptionally smooth and present high end. The result is a deep acoustic foundation that is robust, yet balanced.

Black Top Filter'Tron Pickups—Quintessential Power and Clarity

Black Top Filter'Tron pickups amplify and accentuate the Electromatic Jet FT's chambered body to produce a wide, balanced and transparent tone. Loud and punchy, this Jet sounds out with remarkable definition at any level of gain. Together, the body and pickups thunder with full, responsive lows and mids with a high end that sparkles without spikes.

Total Tonal Control

The Electromatic Jet FT is equipped with essential features that give you complete tonal control. The combination of individual pickup volume controls, master tone and master volume with treble bleed circuit provides intuitive global control over your pickup and tone settings.

Impressive quality and stunning looks!

Been playing for decades but always owned Fender, Gibson and Epiphone in my collection. A couple months back I picked up a G5420T, my first Gretsch, and I was extremely impressed with the quality and gorgeous styling (orange stain). Once I caught the Gretsch fever, couldn't help myself when this stunning champagne white and gold Jet came up on sale. Once again, the QA on this second Gretsch was as good as the first, and much better than a recent Les Paul I also picked up. Love the unique sound of the Gretsch, and it plays very well. But mostly I'm just very impressed with these Gretsch guitars at these reasonable price points that are so well built. Everything is just well done, and both were well set up out of the box. And did I mention they are stunning looking? 😂. Impressed with both my Gretsch guitars and glad after all these years that I finally jumped in!

This is the most crystal clear sound I've ever gotten from a guitar and I love the versatility I can get out of it. Very convenient to have the main volume knob up close for easy swells. Fantastic sound for a worship set.

My first Gretsch! Professional quality feel and function throughout. The black metallic is beautiful. Binding and fingerboard perfect. Tone and pickup controls are intuitive. Bigsby gives a lovely shimmer with minimal effort.

  • Very nice guitar for the money

Plays great and sounds great, now…. Arrived with the pickups badly adjusted and many of the pickup screws cranked down completely. Almost sent it back, but about an hours work sorted that out and it now sounds great. This is supposed to be chambered, but it still weighs well over 8 pounds. Love the look, great Gretsch sound, and good playability. Stays in tune fine. Didn't appreciate having to spend an hour undoing someone's messed up idea for how the pickups should be adjusted, and the weight is a problem.

I had been looking at this guitar for a while. I was particularly drown to the White with Gold Hardware that has a similar vibe to my White Falcon, but I was looking for a solid body LP style. I played this guitar every time I saw it in GC. I liked the way it felt in played. Even sounded great before connecting it to an amp. The sound is clean and full. The bigsby vibrato is what you expect for those subtle wavers. I finally went for it and I am not looking back, Really enjoy playing this guitar more each time I play it. #sweepstakes

Went in to try a couple of guitars and wanted to hear the difference in P90s and Filtertrons, was not planning on buying. This one was the only Filtertrons solid body they had in stock and I fell in love. Plays super easy, no sharp fret edges, perfect factory set up, and it's beautiful. Played it for 3 hours strait last night and never went out of tune. Great guitar super great price. Also the salesperson in store was super helpful, great experience.
