I've had many cases in my travels and this is by far the best. It's a well built, solid standing bag. Even has a pull out "kickstand" thing that makes it even more stable. The inside is spacious and comes with Velcro blocks that you can custom arrange.

Like many of the other reviews here, I couldn't be happier with taking a chance on this case. I firmly believe you get what you pay for. This case is awesome. We have been using it now for over a month and my little one can handle it a lot better than the hard shell case. The zippers are very heavy duty and large, they need to be in order to last. The padding within the main compartment will certianly protect the instrument from daily back and fourth travels. The only slightly negative comment so far would be that we have to fold the music/books in half in order to fit within, otherwise just carry it....( this is with regards to the single Alto sax case.)

This soft tenor Saxophone case by Gard has got to be one of the most thoughtfully designed products on the market. It's much more ergonomic than the original, rectangular hard case, and although not as protective as a hard case, it excels in every other feature. The Gard soft case protects the Sax with generously padded, moveable, velcro foam blocks, and as long as it's just myself or an understanding friend handling it, I have no qualms about it's ability to protect my tenor from the back of my car to the gig. It has more storage than the old hard case: Two side pockets measuring 7x17x2 inches (I keep my cased flute in one and a Hercules saxophone stand in the other, and still have room left). On the front is a pocket (2x12x5 inches) for the neck which has separated internal pockets for the mouthpiece and reeds. My loaded case weighs 26 pounds. The backpack straps allow me to carry it comfortably leaving my hands free to negotiate crowds, doors or carry all the other stuff. For a short distance I often carry it with a single strap or drag it on it's wheels. The construction is top of the line. Big, smooth running zippers, heavy, yet supple fabric, double stitched, beaded seams, nylon wheels, padded straps, internal frame... Gard must have consulted a sax player when they designed this bag cause they didn't miss a beat. You really should take a look at this product. Thanks for reading my review.
A MUST for Tenor Players

My 11 year old daughter decided to play her grandfather's Selmer Tenor for 5th grade band. We were very proud of her drive...even though she was breaking her poor little back lugging her gig bag, along with her backpack twice a week! I bought her the Gard rolling case and, wow...what a marvelous purchase! Her friends are so jealous of the ease she has in rolling her heavy instrument, not to mention the quality and security the bag has to protect my Dad's classic horn. The pockets have plenty of room and everything is well made; it will hold up for years to come. This is a wonderful investment, and Guitar Center shipped right on time, not to mention FREE shipping, which was not offered by any other website!
