The amp is great 500 dedicated true watts of power. It is warm and plenty loud! It is really heavy however, but the provided caster wheels help with that..

Every thing you would expect out of a GK rig. Great tone and punchy. Gets through all of the stage noise with no problem. Had this amp for a few months and even the slightest bump would chip the black paint off revealing a white under coat. Who would paint white under black?? It appears as though GK has gone back to a Tolex covering and side handles in stead of the single top handle that my version has. I purchased a road case for mine and touched up all of the paint chips and it stays nice now. 500 watts and 4-10 inch speakers are awesome and good for most gigs. The direct line out has been improved as well. It used to be difficult on early models to reach the XLR cable latch to remove the cable, but they changed the orientation of the jack and that is much nicer now. I would have preferred a different chain output jack as it easily confuses rental sound guys when they are looking for your line out. If you gig a lot and don't use a MBP cabinet with this, cover your chain out with some black gaffers tape (just trust me on this). It is currently in the shop for a common problem with these combo amps. Apparently components get loose on the circuit boards and cause in intermittent crackling/distortion even at low levels. Fortunately still under warranty. Hopefully they addressed this with the new current version for sale now. My favorite amp of all time so far, barring the few inconveniences.
