Galaxy Audio

collapse expand iconDescription

In today’s cyber world, we use our smartphones for everything; gaming, social media, news updates, shopping, pictures and video. Getting rich, clear, articulate audio while recording video can be especially difficult when standing away from the microphone. The Galaxy Trek GT-S portable wireless headset microphone transmits seamlessly to the Trek wireless receiver, which simply plugs into the 3.5 mm headphone jack of your smartphone, delivering quality audio to your video recording.

The Galaxy Trek GT-S will also plug directly into most powered speaker inputs (1/8" & 1/4"). This conveniently adds a wireless microphone to any powered speaker you may already have. Aerobics instructors, teachers, videographers, livestreamers, presenters, auctioneers, among many others will find this convenience a plus.

The Galaxy Trek GT-S is powered by long-lasting internal lithium batteries located in both the transmitter and receiver. Charging is quick and easy with the included micro USB cable. The system also includes two adapter cables for both Android and Apple iOS smart devices.

The Galaxy Trek GT-S delivers quality wireless audio to numerous on-the-go applications.

I wanted to be more engaged with the audiences and thought a wireless mic would help and didn't want to spend a lot to test one. Been testing it in my music room for the last couple of weeks and am very pleased with how I performs. Hope it works just as well at a gig.

  • I have just had it for a few days, but works good so far.

The Galaxy Audio Galaxy Trek GT-S wireless headset microphone system can technically be used with a 3.5mm to XLR adapter, but with a few important caveats: What You Need A 3.5mm TRS (male) to XLR (male) adapter or cable (Make sure it’s TRS—tip-ring-sleeve, not TS) Potential Issues Signal Level Mismatch The GT-S receiver outputs a mic-level, unbalanced signal designed for camera inputs or small devices. XLR inputs on mixers usually expect balanced mic-level or line-level signals. Using an adapter won’t magically balance or boost the signal—so you might need to turn up the gain a lot on your mixer. Phantom Power Risk: DO NOT send phantom power (48V) to the receiver—it can damage the device. If your mixer automatically sends phantom power on all XLR channels (like some Behringer or Yamaha models), you’ll need to disable it on that channel. Sound Quality Even with a proper adapter, you may get some noise or hiss, depending on your gain structure and cable length (since it’s unbalanced).

Yes, it can. You need to convert from a 1/8" to a 1/4" jack: On-Stage WHA4500 1/8" to 1/4" TRS Adapter.

Probably. What mixer? What type of input? It would most likely need a convertor as this is an 1/8" mini plug.
