What if they had sent the one I bought?

How can I review the Lyons 25 bell, when what Guitar Center sent to me was a 1rst Note brand 25 bell xylophone? The 1st Note seems a little smaller, based on the pictures of the Lyons with children, and the plastic mallets curve a little, and I see that the mallets for the Lyons bells don't curve noticeably. The bells received are pretty good for the price, I suppose, but I will be reluctant to order anything from GC without in-store inspection. Would the Lyons bells have been better, or worse?

One note wrong

Overall we like this xylophone however the bottom G is the same sound as the G sharp. It's not easy to tune these so it's quite disappointing to have one that is not right. Otherwise we do like the instrument and play it on a regular basis, just avoid the bottom note!

At this time I an using this product (xylophone) strictly for home use. I am getting used to and learning how to use it. Great design makes it easy to use in an ergonomically safe way. It sounds great with each key representing the notes on a keyboard. Thank you for allowing me to share my opinion about this item with you. Take care and have a good day. Best regards; Barry P. This is for my 3 year old granddaughter's birthday. She's been wanting the typical child's xylophone but she will be thrilled with this one that is made better stays in the case and has storage for the "sticks"

  • Great gifts!

Gifts for three grandsons. They were a hit! They play other instruments so these are great when they play together and when their friends come over for a jam session on the patio! The Patio Band!

Would this be ok for a child in a school band? since the children have to have their own instruments.
Do the bells come out of the case?
