Description

The Fender Mini '65 Twin Amp brings full-sized Fender tone to the palm of your hand. This 1W, single-channel amplifier drives dual 3" speakers to deliver the unmistakable sound of a Blackface Twin in a portable package. With dedicated Gain, Volume and Tone controls, players can shape a variety of vintage and modern tones. A belt clip and tilt-back kickstand provide multiple positioning options on stage or in the studio. Measuring just 9.5" wide, this mighty mini amp is ready to rock wherever inspiration strikes.

One-Watt, Single-Channel Design Packs a Punch

Don't let the Mini '65 Twin Amp's diminutive size fool you—it has plenty of power under the hood. A single 1W amplifier drives two 3" speakers, pumping out full, rich tone with satisfying low end. While small in stature, this mini amp provides enough volume for practicing, recording or intimate live performances. A 1/4" input accommodates electric guitars, basses and other instruments. There's also a 1/8" headphone jack for silent jamming.

Vintage-Style Controls Shape Iconic Fender Tone

Like its full-size inspiration, the Mini '65 Twin Amp provides simple but effective tone shaping controls. Adjust the Gain knob to set the input level and overdrive amount. Turn up the Volume knob to increase the overall loudness. And shape the EQ with the Tone knob, rolling it off for a warmer, bassier tone or boosting highs for extra cut and chime. These controls make it easy to conjure the tone of a vintage Blackface Twin or forge your own signature sound.

Portable Design Goes Anywhere

Weighing in at just 3lb., the Mini '65 Twin Amp is a featherweight powerhouse you can take anywhere. A built-in belt clip and tilt-back kickstand provide multiple positioning options for maximum versatility. Use the kickstand to aim the sound up towards your ears or collapse it to rest the amp flat on a tabletop or other surface. The belt clip makes it easy to attach the amp to a mic stand, music stand or strap for hands-free operation. Wherever you want to jam, this mini marvel is ready to come along.

Road-Ready and Built to Last

While small in size, the Mini '65 Twin Amp is a formidable amp built for life on the road. Its high-quality components and rugged construction ensure reliability gig after gig. An included 9-volt battery powers the amp for up to 20 hours of continuous use. There's also an adapter jack to connect a 9-volt DC power supply for long sessions in the studio or extended rehearsals and performances. This mini amp is perfectly suited for traveling light without sacrificing tone or durability.

Wow again fender!

Wow again fender. I have not ever had so much fun before. I had a fender strat with this mini twin next to a Skullcandy Bluetooth speaker and have never had more fun singing and playing along with a streaming service playing out the Bluetooth speaker. I can't sing but it sure was fun. It was a match made in guitar heaven. Despite being a 9v solid state portable amplifier WOW. This is so perfect. I was able to max out the Bluetooth speaker and perfectly match the levels amusing the mini twin. I did NOT need reverb and I did NOT miss having a tube amp. Wow. Good job fender way to go again!

Not bad for the price, but QC needs a little work.

Grabbed this little amp because I'm the only electric in a beginners class full of Acoustics and was getting drowned out by their sound. Upon having the amp in my hands in manufacturer packaging I could hear & feel something loose inside. Another review I read on here saying their amp arrived in-box from the manufacturer with a loose speaker- I opened the back of my amp to find the same issue. Not being concerned about warranty for this little amp- disassembly was easy as pie using a medium length Phillips Head screwdriver. Like the aforementioned other review I found the left inside speaker had come completely loose from it's mounting clips. I re-mounted it and made sure it was centered in the molded mounting brackets and screwed everything back together. Also with the back open I found quite a bit of loose hot glue from the assembly process I simply picked out of the housing. With the amp re-assembled I was finally able to take the little amp for a test run. Sound is not bad considering it's a tiny 1-watt thing. Gain feels maybe a little overboard for the little amp but I suspect it is fine for limited use. The swing-back stand is a little tricky to get loose but seems to balance the amp housing relatively well. The belt clip is a little tight, they could increase the upward angle of the clip to allow it to more easily slide over belts/pockets/straps you want to hang it on. I got this little thing to elevate my plucking to just-audible next to a room full of Acoustics and for that measure this little amp works well.

Only problem I have is the little flip out stand. Seems it doesn't mean back enough and will fall over pretty easy.

I'm looking for an amp for a ukulele. Would this work, how is the sound. Also open to any suggestions for other options. Thanks

    Open Reply - Thomas
Yes, it would 'work' but a ukulele is an acoustic instruments and as such an amp for it would need to be properly voiced. It's why acoustic guitar amps are in a whole other category than electric guitar amps. Take a look at the ' Kustom KUA10 10W 1x6 Ukulele Combo Amplifier with Pickup and Amp Strap'. Just put it in the search bar.

Hi! I am a beginner guitar player and bought an amplifier but it does not have the electric guitar sound that I was looking for. Is this amplifier able to produce an electric guitar sound that is present in most rock songs? Thank you!

What you are looking for is overdrive/distortion.Take a look at 'Behringer Overdrive/Distortion OD300 Guitar Effects Pedal'. Just put it in the search bar.
