While the Mustang GT amplifiers are packed with incredible built-in features, many can only be accessed using the MGT-4 Footswitch. Tap into the Mustang GT's 60-second looper to create rhythm passages and layer solos or activate the onboard tuner with the touch of a button. Three effects buttons give you control over the first three effects in your signal chain, allowing you to kick on an overdrive or turn off a fuzz instantly during a song. The MGT-4 Footswitch unlocks the Mustang GT's full potential, giving you more flexibility and control over your tone during performance.

Intuitive Layout with Bright LED Display

The MGT-4 Footswitch's simple four-button layout and bright LED display were designed with both new and experienced players in mind. Easily navigate between your saved presets or control effects parameters mid-song. The large LED screen provides visual feedback so you know exactly which mode or preset you're using, even on dark stages. An included 15' cable gives you plenty of room to roam, allowing you to control your Mustang GT amplifier from a comfortable distance.

Built-In Tuner for Quick Tuning

The MGT-4 Footswitch eliminates the need for a separate tuner pedal thanks to the Mustang GT amplifier's built-in chromatic tuner. Simply hold the "hold to tune" button to activate the tuner. Colored LEDs provide visual feedback to get your instrument in tune quickly between songs or before your set.

Unmatched Tone and Flexibility

Combined with Fender's Mustang GT series amplifiers, the MGT-4 Footswitch provides an unmatched level of tone and flexibility. Excellent add-on for your Mustang GT

Very easy setup. Just plug it in and your Mustang GT will recognize it. I have never used a looper so was afraid it would be difficult to time but to my surprise I was dubbing in minutes! This is a must have for any Mustang GT owner. A bit pricey but well worth it to unlock features in the GT. My only wish is to be able to assign effects to buttons. The way it works is it picks the first 3 effects from whatever your current preset has and allows you to switch them on and off. This is documented in the GT manual.

Looks like a sweet foot switch but…

Product looks great. I'm sure it works great as well, but, do not listen to the reviews when it pertains to the fender mustang LT model amps. It is NOT compatible. I bought this after reading countless reviews and Q&A pertaining to the compatibility to the Fender Mustang LT model amps. Many say it is compatible it is NOT. So now I'm forced to return the product to the store hoping to find something very similarly that is compatible.

    Yes. It works with the Mustang LT50. It took me five minutes to figure out the whole thing. Bank 1 is already preset to the 1 to 4 sound, and bank 2 from 5 to 8 on the amplifier. Once your footswitch is connected, you need to go on the amplifier menu and look for the footswitch, then select the bank and then select to change which sound you want.

    Purchased this to go along with my Fender Mustang LT50 amp. Functions are different then what come with this foot switch, but the Mustang LT50 comes with a magnetic decal that overlays the footswitch to give you the true functions. It allows you quickly to switch between the models the amp gives you (acoustic, metal lead, clean delay) and you can program up to 8 at a time. And it works well! Allows you to play most songs without the need of stopped and switching modes by hand.
