More room; classic
I have owned many guitars and cases, classic wood and modern plastic in 40 years of being a musician. I have owned several Fender Jazz Basses and Stratocasters, and the integrity of construction of the good old Fender case is without peer. The plastic ones have feet punch through, hinges tear out, warpage and cracking; but worst of all, there's never enough room for cords, allen wrenches, picks, wide straps, tuners, etc. You can carry your lunch and maybe Jimmy Hoffa in a Fender case. I one time had a car roll over my bass case, right across the bass at the neck junction, took it out of the case and found only a couple marks on the frets and a little crunched area on the case that didn't even show! That happpened on the road in Enning, SD in August of 1973. The real leather ends of the old cases were tough. Ignore the plastic; never trust a gig bag unless you also collect china, and just buy the real deal.

The locks are week and poor quality & no service available
GC didn't have any option for me to have it repaired. Didn't even have a suggestion.

This case is well built & looks good. Serves the two most important purposes of any case, transporting & safety/security for my beautiful jazz bass. No more needs to be said. Worth the money to me!
No thanks

This case looks exactly like the one my uncle had back in 1963. The case is built really solid and the hardware is cool looking. The tweed looks cool too.
Not too bad
