Great Practice Amp

This is a really good practice amp for the price. I've had this amp for 5 years and it still runs great. Not big enough to use for a gig, but it's perfect for at-home playing or rehearsing. Really light, portable and easy to use with a nice powerful sound. The only small problem is that it makes a "pop" noise when you turn it off. It's not too big of a deal, and I would recommend it for home/practice.
This little amp is awesome.

I went to GC to try this amp out. After sampling it for about a 15 minutes, I was sold. I tried the amp with a Jackson dinky minion that I also bought. The gain and effects sound awesome. I was surprised when I used it at a rehearsal. The amp cut thru the drums and the other guitarists shi#ty little vox amp. lol. I think he was mad.
It packs a punch

Can this be used for a keyboard?
he Fender Champion II 25 Combo Amp is not ideal for keyboards, though it can be used in a pinch. Here's why: ----What Works: You can plug a keyboard into it using a 1/4" instrument cable. It will produce sound — useful for practice or informal settings. It has simple EQ controls and reverb, which may enhance certain electric piano sounds. ----Limitations for Keyboard Use: It's a guitar amp, voiced and designed for electric guitars. That means: Limited frequency response — it won’t reproduce the full range of a keyboard, especially low bass notes and high frequencies. Single speaker (10" or 12") optimized for guitar — not full-range. Can color the tone, sometimes unpleasantly for digital pianos, organs, or synths. Mono input — no stereo image for patches with wide effects. No line input with proper gain structure for keyboards. ----Best Use: Use it if you: Have no other amp or PA available. Are just jamming or practicing casually.submitted7 months ago
