I do like the chair, I have many other regular size stool chairs so I was surprised on how really high this one is. Really surprised! I'm 5.6 so for me it's like sitting in a baby high chair. Oh and yes it does swivel. The instructions are garbage luckily most of it you can figure it out. There are no medium screws just large and medium, which is fine. Instructions does not provide info on how to put the backrest on so I had to figure that out-totally steps over that part: you have to attach it to the chair first before attaching the legs to the chair. Anyway, so far so good feels sturdy so I guess I recommend it. It's pricey and even though I wish it was lower for me someone that is taller will appreciate how tall it is.

  • Comfortable for long playing/ performing times.

I got my Dad a New Brand Name "Fender" playing stool for his birthday. It got here just in time to wrap it up and get it over to him, per shipping - all good. When he finally pulled it out of the box to assemble it he noticed the seat back had rub marks that went through the black seat back material. Very noticeable - imagine a white dot on a black background. My dad was very proud to get that stool, and when he said "how nice, my son got me a stool with a hole in it" - that stuck with me. I accept responsibility for not inspecting it prior. The damage in my estimation, from how it was removed and the loose hardware found was a vibration issue. Hardware became loose and contact was made. If Fender is going to sell this stool for that price, they might want to take some of that prophet and reallocate it to packaging ?
