OK
I'm needing to sell my '72 Twin, and had lost the foot switch, so I needed to replace it so I could prove that the reverb and the the vibrato functions work (they do). I agree with the other reviewer who commented on the soft response of the foot switches- you don't get a real solid, mechanical "click" sound or feel, but it works. The chrome metal upper case seems solid enough. Kind of curious as to why the one braided cable has so much exposed length, which would seem to make it vulnerable to fraying. Same standard on these things on their aren't really different sources to pick from. If they are all like the one I got, I would recommend splaying out the flanges on the RCA plug heads a little as they make a very tight connection to the female receptors on the amp that it's hard to pull them off and one can slip ones grip and end up yanking the wire, which could lead to a problem. So, seems ok not having put any wear on it. It's very simple wiring and parts, made in Mexico, and expect it cost about $7 to produce. Like I said, not much choice.

Functional, But...
It looks new and shiny, and does work. BUT the foot switches are soft in feel, leaving the user to guess whether he or she has actually effected a change. The old style "vintage" RCA connectors look sloppily soldered, and the overall integrity of the connector ends looks shabby. I bought this when selling my 1974 Twin Reverb, and I'm very happy that it is available, but I think the workmanship is a little TOO "vintage."

Works great, like the small size, plug ins seem rugged, not flimsy. Didn't like that the plug came facing forward, so I peeled off the sticker and switched it around to face backward, then switched spots on the back of my amp. This would not work w/ a single plug cord. Manufacturer should change that.
Easy to use, fast shipping .
