Break New Ground With a Reimagined Explorer Body

The Extura Prophecy's radical pointed shape is an inspired redesign of the legendary Gibson Explorer. While its silhouette is instantly recognizable, a narrower waist and deeper cutaway open up the lower fingerboard for slick slides and finger taps. Crafted from mahogany with an eye-catching AAA flame maple veneer top, the Extura Prophecy resonates with depth and projection to complement its bold aesthetic. Custom white binding adds a touch of elegance to this unapologetically modern design.

Shift Between Three Distinct Tonal Personalities

At the heart of the Extura Prophecy are a pair of custom Fishman Fluence humbucking pickups that unlock three completely different tones at the turn of a knob. Pull up the volume knob for a warm, vintage humbucker voicing reminiscent of Gibson's hallowed PAF pickups. Pull up the tone knob for a hot, high-output humbucker tone suited for heavy rock and metal. Push both knobs in for a crisp, chiming single-coil tone ideal for funk and fusion. The Extura Prophecy's mahogany neck has an asymmetrical SlimTaper profile that feels fast and familiar.     Great neck, great pickups, great bridge, great everything.... The shape is dreadful. It forces your right arm into a weird position and gets pretty uncomfortable after a while. Also, it's bigger than a traditional Explorer, so there isn't a single case on the market that fits it correctly. Just don't.
