Almost a great case...almost

This case is a really nice one. The padding is very good, with that nice long hair furry covering. Being for a doubleneck, it's a very large and heavy case (but hey, it holds a LARGE and HEAVY guitar...). The accessory compartment is HUGE. I was pleasantly surprised to find my Zoom G1X effects pedal easily fit in the compartment, with plently of room to spare. The only reason I say "almost" and give this a 4 star (I'd give it a 4.5 if I could) is the cover for the accessory case has a bit of a bow to it and doesn't sit flush (closed) unless the guitar is in the case holding it there. This is really nitpicking, but I thought I'd mention it. I highly doubt that they ALL have this issue, so chances are yours won't. My G-1275 (Alpine White, bought at the same time) fits perfect, and I feel it's very well protected while in it's case.

new case has issues

got one after recently purchasing guitar.case has manufacturing flaws.gibson had 80 of these before being backordered....I was able to fix the case but still.typical Gibson quality/quality control....there is none

    I bought a double neck guitar and needed a case for it. I check the internet and found very few cases that I like or within my price range. Not only did GC have what I wanted but the price was better than any one else.

    Purchased this case for a China built double neck SG guitar..It fit perfectly..Very nice case...only con it is a bit heavy.

    The opening for the body of the guitar is too deep, which means the guitar sits in the case at an angle which causes the lid to put unnecessary pressure on the neck. You'll need to put something behind the guitar to raise the body about a half inch. I use neoprene mousepads.
