Description

The EHX Lizard Queen octave/distortion effects pedal is a ’70s-inspired homage to the heyday of Electro-Harmonix. This nano-sized fuzz pedal has all the tones and vibes of those original circuits with tone inspired by the EHX’s fuzz pedigree and a unique analog octave-up circuit. This creates a completely unique EHX fuzz sound never heard before.

Housed in EHX’s nano-sized chassis and adorned with vintage-inspired graphics, the Lizard Queen octave/distortion pedal features Volume, Octave and Balance knobs. Volume controls the overall output volume level. The Octave control adjusts the level of the octave-up signal from zero to full-octave chaos. Perfect for dialing in a crushing rhythm sound or a chimey, clanging lead sound. The Balance knob sets the tone balance between the smoother Shadow setting and the raspy, biting Sun setting. The effect of the Balance control is especially apparent with the octave set high.

    since I am a blind consumer, I asked the guys at the Reno store to help me with this purchase. They were absolutely amazing. The pedal is awesome. The delivery came when it was told of course after they restocked it cause it's quite the popular pedal sounds amazing thank you so much. I would absolutely recommend this to anybody to play the guitar.

    Just when I said I wasn't going to buy any more pedals… I had to buy this one because of the unique collaboration between EHX and JHS pedals. I have over 60 pedals, and love my Fuzz and distortion effects. With the 3 knobs set at 12 o'clock, you get a very unique and raging Fuzz that has a great bite to it. I would now rate this as my top Fuzz pedal, eclipsing my longtime favorite EHX Big Muff Op Amp. There is plenty of versatility in the sweep settings depending on how bright or dark you want to get. My only criticism is that there may be a component of a noise gate built in because unless you are playing loud and use additional modulation, the effect clips off faster than I would like. That being said, I've only had the pedal a week and I'm still experimenting. Overall, the pedal is KILLER and I can't wait to use it live!
