Open Box EVH 5150III 412 Guitar Extension Cabinet Level 1 Ivory

Description
Designed by the legendary Eddie Van Halen to pair perfectly with the 5150III amplifier head, this 412 cabinet delivers massive tone through four custom 12" EVH Celestion speakers. Its rugged birch-ply construction and thick vinyl covering can withstand the rigors of the road, promising years of peak performance for serious rock guitarists.
Custom EVH Celestion Speakers Provide Chest-Pounding Lows and Searing Highs
The secret behind the 5150III 412 cabinet's powerful and nuanced tone lies within its four custom Celestion EVH signature speakers. Carefully crafted to Eddie Van Halen's exact standards, these speakers pump out tight, articulate lows, rich midrange, and searing highs that cut through a mix. Dial in a variety of tones from warm and thick to aggressive and saturated. The 5150III 412 cabinet handles both with equal dexterity, proving itself a highly versatile extension of your amplifier setup.
Roadworthy Birch-Ply Construction
While the 5150III 412 cabinet prioritizes tone above all else, its rugged construction promises years of reliability under pressure. Built from high-quality birch plywood and reinforced with durable corner protectors, this enclosure can withstand the physical demands of touring and frequent gigging. Thick vinyl covering protects the cabinet from scratches and scuffs without inhibiting its acoustical properties. The 5150III 412 cabinet delivers no-compromise performance for the serious rock guitarist.
Angled Baffle Provides Optimal Sound Dispersion
The 5150III 412 cabinet's angled baffle aims its quartet of speakers upward at a 45-degree angle, dispersing your tone broadly across the stage. This design creates an expansive sonic spread that envelops listeners, whether performing for an intimate crowd or a vast festival audience. The result is a cabinet that projects articulately in virtually any venue.

The Greenback 20's in this Cabinet are my favorite!! Read the story regarding these exact speakers on the Celestion Website. Guitar Center's rep "Guy Tickner" really hooked me up and it should be acknowledged regarding his knowledge of history regarding most any amp or guitar I have ever needed to inquire about. it was also nice to buy it at home and have it shipped to Guitar Center considering my work schedule. The Cabinet has such a warm rich thick Nazaly bottom end punch sound that will make any amp sound simply better. No wonder Eddie likes these speakers. These are also the same speakers I had in a Cab back in the 70's as well. I never forgot the feel and sound. It's really in the speakers sometimes more than the amp. A Buddy of mine ran his lesser solid state amp on it here recently and afterward his problem was he didn't want to use his Cab any more! He did get a bit upset with me because I wouldn't let him run off with it. Bottom line.. if you can afford this Cabinet you will be most pleased with the tone. Don't cut corners on speakers. I run two of these with Two 5150 III Heads and I will never need another amp again unless it is lost or stolen of course.
