Description
The ESP M-1000 electric guitar delivers cutting-edge features and impeccable craftsmanship for players seeking high-performance versatility. Built with an alder body and a bolt-on three-piece maple neck, this shred-ready guitar is designed for durability and tonal precision. The compound radius maple fingerboard allows you to transition fluidly from chord work to lightning-fast leads, while the scalloped frets from positions 17–24 provide enhanced control for intricate solos. Equipped with Fishman Fluence Modern 3-Voice humbuckers, the M-1000 offers unparalleled tonal flexibility, allowing players to seamlessly switch between active, passive and single-coil voicings. The Floyd Rose 1000SE tremolo system and Grover tuners ensure reliable tuning stability and expressive pitch control for demanding performances. A striking visual design that combines an elegant yet aggressive silhouette, offset dot inlays and black hardware throughout provides the perfect aesthetic for this precision-crafted axe.
Fishman Fluence Pickups for Unmatched Tonal Flexibility
The M-1000 is equipped with a pair of Fishman Fluence Modern 3-Voice humbuckers that offer unparalleled tonal versatility. The alnico neck pickup and ceramic bridge pickup both feature three unique voicings, accessible via push-pull controls: a high-output active humbucker tone for tight, aggressive riffing, a warm, passive-style voice with organic character and a crystal-clear single-coil mode for added snap and articulation. With noise-free performance and consistent output, these pickups deliver dynamic, expressive tones—perfect for any playing style, from pristine cleans to high-gain shredding.
Compound Radius Fretboard for Precision Playability
This M-1000's maple fingerboard features a compound radius that allows for effortless transitions between rhythm and lead techniques. The flatter radius of the upper fretboard enables faster runs and smooth bends, while the scalloped frets between positions 17 and 24 enhance grip and control for precision soloing. The extra-thin U-shaped neck contour ensures fatigue-free performance during extended sessions, making it suitable for technical players seeking speed and accuracy. Combined with jumbo stainless steel frets, this ultra-fast and ergonomic neck design guarantees durability and a consistent playing feel over time.
Floyd Rose Tremolo for Expressive Pitch Control
Fitted with a Floyd Rose 1000SE tremolo system, the M-1000 offers smooth, reliable pitch modulation for a wide range of techniques, from subtle vibrato to dramatic dive bombs. The stainless steel screws enhance durability and tuning stability, even under aggressive use. Paired with Grover tuners and a molded nut, this system ensures precise adjustments and consistent performance during demanding gigs. Whether experimenting with dynamic solos or adding texture to rhythm sections, the Floyd Rose system empowers creative expression without compromising intonation.
Alder and Maple: A Powerful Tonewood Combination
Built with an alder body and a fast, bolt-on three-piece maple neck, the M-1000 delivers a balanced, cutting tone that shines through in any mix. Alder provides a tight low end, pronounced mids and a slight upper-mid bump that helps leads sing with clarity. The maple neck brings brightness and snap, ensuring quick attack and excellent note definition. This combination makes the M-1000 an ideal choice for aggressive riffing and fluid lead work, ensuring your sound stays powerful and articulate—even under high-gain distortion.
Designed for High-Performance Players
The ESP M-1000 electric guitar is crafted to meet the needs of guitarists who demand precision, versatility and reliability. With its advanced 3-voice humbucker pickups, ultra-fast neck and Floyd Rose tremolo, this guitar excels in delivering articulate tones and exceptional playability. I'm the guitarist for Fuel Heavy in Las Vegas, I Recieved this brand new in sealed ESP box. There are a couple of minor finish flaws, but nothing that affects playability or sound. The fretboard is wider than my MH1000 which is something to be aware of. I'm uncertain if I'm going to keep it or exchange for a new one. Overall it does play and sound really good.
Be aware: GC sent me open the box item

One of the pickups doesn't work. Small crack on the fretboard. I ordered new item but received heavily used guitar in a "fender" box wrapped in bubble wrap, no original packaging. It has all the signs to be heavily used. I have never expected from GC to do such thing. According to a support guy: "On placing the order you can contact us and ask to source it from our warehouse so that it's guarantee on brand new condition."... I didn't order open box item for the price of new guitar. Again, according to the support: "Unfortunately, brand new stock will arrive on November 17, I'll update you via email once we have it because sometimes stocks arrived before the expected date." So, why does website shows M-1000 in stock?
