Deering Goodtime 6-String Banjos Demo | Highway 101 by Darren Dugger & Sam Miller

Deering Goodtime 6-String Banjos Demo | Tall Oak Tree by Darren Dugger & Sam Miller

Description
The Deering Goodtime Six-R banjo comes hot on the heels of the very popular Goodtime Six open-back banjo but features a resonator making the Goodtime Six-R ready for the big stage.
Tonally, the Goodtime Six-R is elevated by the addition of a 3-ply maple resonator behind its 11" 3-ply violin-grade maple rim. Like any banjo, the addition of a resonator not only creates a sound chamber, but also provides a flat surface for the sound to bounce off and project forward toward the audience, instead of being absorbed by their body. The result is a significantly fuller, clearer and more vibrant tone.
The Goodtime Six is the only model in the Goodtime line to feature a stunning pau ferro fingerboard with pearloid block inlays.
The Goodtime Six was not designed to replace the guitar, but rather complement it. It affords guitarists the chance to play what they already know with unimaginably creative results.
Fun Fact: Try replacing the low E with another high E to replicate the drone string of a 5-string banjo.
