Case arrived in a timely manner, looked good and well constructed, however, the EDGE bass I bought it for would not fit unless I removed the strap button near the neck. I had to modify the center portion of the case to get the bass to fit the case.

I bought this case to safely store my son's Dean Edge 1 bass while not in use. The looks are good, the fit is good, the neck will be supported, and the bass protected while not in use. Over all, worth the money.
Designed for the right-handed Edge bass, but . . .

If they had the foresight to design it symmetrically or with removable padding Velcro'd to the interior so you could flip it, it would fit my left-handed Edge Bass much better. There is no way a generic bass case will fit a Dean Edge 4 (either hand). I stuffed my southpaw bass in and pushed and wiggled until it was in enough to close the lid. Fortunately, the interior is soft enough to give a little. The interior cubbyhole would hold about 10 packs of strings, a handful of picks, and a cable or two. It's too shallow to stuff a pedal into, but an electronic tuner goes right in with all of the other stuff. It's the largest cubbyhole I've seen in an instrument case. If you have a right-handed bass, it's great. For the 17% of us who aren't right-handed, it's only good.
