    I have vintage Tama Superstars 13" and 14". They are heavy drums. I was debating between this stand and the Tama star stand but this had more reviews, plus the extra space for a cymbal. This thing is heavy duty. With the two toms and cymbal it doesn't budge. I had to change the tom mounts to fit my Tama toms, but I knew that before I bought it and have plenty so no issue there. I'll sell the DW mounts and get some money back, so bonus there. The pic is the new stand. The video is the old stand that it replaced that was holding a 10" and 12" tom. No way it was going to hold these toms.

    Ideal for rock solid tom mounts. Use for 10 and 12 toms offset mount. Leave room for ride to right over bass drum.

    They fail to mention in the description (on most web sites) that L arm size is for 12.7 mm tom attachments. Which means a Gretsch Catalina Maple kit can use this stand for toms. Memory locks from my drum set are used since the stand doesn't come with them for the toms.

    Okay, so this puppy is pretty heavy, but it's advertised as heavy duty, so that should come as no surprise. It's easy to adjust and has a memory lock for the overall height. It also has an attachment point for a cymbal, tom or accessory mount. It is extremely stable and the finish is gorgeous.

    Will this work with my Gretsch Custom USA rack toms? Will the diameter of the 2 posts the toms mount on work with them?
