Solid built, accurate - Good product love it

Got this pedal today. Fits perfectly on my board without eating up much space. This costs a little less than it's competitors but worth the money. The build quality is pretty solid, it has got bright displays and the tuning seems to be pretty accurate. It comes with a 9v battery inside. You just need to open the screws, remove the battery sticker and connect it, put the cover back and you are good to go. No separate power supply needed. I think, since you are not running this pedal all the time, the battery on this thing will last a while. Loving it, highly recommended if you are looking for an onboard tuner.

Decent Tuner

I picked this up out of desperation. It was the only tuner in stock at my nearest GC that wasn't a full size pedal. It's not as small at the TC Electronic Polytune, but it's smaller than a stander MXR pedal. Pros: The build feels solid and the display is really large. Cons: it takes a bit longer than I like to stabilize and the "#" sign is so small that I can barely tell it apart from the blips it uses to show if a signal is sharp or flat. For that reason, it's only going to be used on a board I use for rehearsal. If they still made the Polytune, I would have taken it back the DiAdario and ordered a Polytune; it's much better.

Looks great, you can feel the weight and quality. It's on my board but it's super frustrating. I'm trying to tune and get to the next song (in a live gig setting) and it just lags and feels imprecise. I expect better from this brand, but this tuner is inconsistent. Sometimes works great, sometimes has a mind if it's own. The angled screen is nice, tho.

I have had the tuner pedal from D'Addario for a few weeks. It seems to be a good product. There is nothing special here. It is a tuner and it seems to do the job. I use to tune my 4 and 5 string bass. Relatively compact design, and the price was less than other tuners in store.

  • I would buy this again

It's my go to tuner for my rig, which I can see the graphics without my glasses on. The screen is visible very clearly on a dark stage as well. It's also very sturdy and easy to use. This tuner is great for rehearsals, gigs, studio recording. I would highly recommend this tuner for everyone.

The CT-20 Chromatic tuner is FANTASTIC, as a 5-string bass player, it really delivers and responds well to attack and decay of the strings for accurate tuning. I got this pedal due to how bright the display is, since I play dark venues sometimes and couldn't be happier

Does this tuner shut off the sound to the amp when tuning?
What IS the accuracy? Most tuners claim to be accurate within 1 cent, and that's simply not good enough unless you're using the tuner to get close and then fine-tuning by ear. Only tuner I've used that is accurate enough is an iPhone app called Ultra Tuner from IK Multimedia. I already have a Korg Pitchblack and it settles in quickly, shuts off the sound, but requires followup tuning. Just wondered how this D'Addario tuner compares, thanks.

Yes it does. We don't have specs, from D'Addario, regarding accuracy.
