Ordering online and delivery from Guitar Center was as advertised. The guitar was shipped in a hardshell case tucked inside a Taylor cardboard box; strange. I guessed that shipping just used any box they had on hand, but ... Upon unpacking and inspection I was disappointed to find that clearly I had been sent a used guitar: there was obvious buckle-rash on the back, lots of scratches on the lower bout clear guard, and various dings that my luthier later pointed out. It is hard to believe that Guitar Center Store No. 777 in Florida would think that people who spend over a thousand bucks on a guitar aren't going to notice this sort of thing. So why did I keep a 'used' guitar? Upon inspection my luthier told me I had been sent a very good specimen: the neck was true, the action was great, the build was sound and the electronics performed as expected, which all meant I didn't have to pay for a set-up. You never know what you're going to get from an online purchase. I figured I was lucky although maybe it is just that Cordoba is very consistent with their build-quality. The Cordoba label inside the body states, 'Hecho a mano Espana'. My Cordoba stays in tune all the way up and down the neck, there is no fret buzz or other weirdness, the action is very good, and the tone is sweet with nice harmonics.

I've been playing guitar for about 5 years now and I just got my hands on this beautiful guitar! First thing you notice about this guitar is the workmanship by Cordoba! Hand made excellence! I have played many guitars but nothing has comes close to this amazing guitar! The second you start to play you notice the warmth and projecting tone from thin body with Solid European Spruce and Flamed Maple Back & Sides. It's just amazing! The Pre Amp is just as amazing! Love how you can blend the Pickup with and built in mic. Beautiful sound! I will forever be a Cordoba player for life and my next guitar will surly be a Cordoba Guitar!

I have been studying classical nylon guitar as in Spanish or very formal style. This guitar has a slim body, is lightweight, and allows me to reach over the body due to the cut away and the neck is sleek and fast. The EQ really brings out a beautiful sound that you will love. I could not believe how fast transitioning the fret board and neck is compared to the true classical. This guitar has clear pick guard over the top and bottom area of the soundboard. It is a Spanish made instrument and quite beautiful. Purchased together with the case and humidifier case will avail you of Cordoba's extended warranty and some free goodies for registering on the website. I would recommend this for the guitarist that wants a classical small body guitar with nylon strings. It plays very similarly to my Martin HD-28 because of the neck and string spacing which is just a bit closer than a true classical guitar.

I have been playing for 40 years. This is the best sound I have heard in an acoustical pick up guitar. The tone is smooth and even. The slide is excellent and the factory pick up is excellent. I play easy listening south seas Jimmy Buffet, Logins and Messina. "Run River Run" sounds and plays beautifully. Can't beat it for the price
