Huge Disappointment!

I had the guitar delivered to a GC near me. Charvel Quality Control is poor. The guitar was carelessly crammed into the box. The manufacturer documentation was crumpled/smashed. The Floyd fine tuners are flimsy, the trem springs are weak, there was glue on fretboard. I would have returned it but missed the 45 day limit because life is busy. Many of the issues I didn't find out right away, but over time as I had time to change strings, clean up the guitar, set-up/level the Floyd trem. Since I couldn't return it, I ended up installing heavier trem springs and a heavier, brass trem block. That helped, but I am pretty disappointed with the experience. I thought owning a Charvel would be pretty cool, but now I wish I hadn't bought it....or at least figured it out before 45 days and returned it to GC.
