Open Box Charvel Pro Mod San Dimas Style 1 2H FR Electric Guitar Level 1 Snow White

Description
A top-notch performer that’s tweaked with the features modern players need, this axe sports a Seymour Duncan JB TB-4 pickup on the bridge and a Seymour Duncan '59 SH-1N pickup on the neck directly mounted to the body that crank out high-octane rock ‘n’ roll tone with plenty of sweet overtones. The volume control conceals a push/pull coil split to have even more tonal variations on tap while the No-Load tone control operates like a standard tone control from positions one through nine, removing itself from the circuit at position ten for transparent sound, letting the full natural voice of the guitar shine through.
Dive to rumbling depths or add a well-placed rising harmonic without sacrificing your tuning with the Floyd Rose FRT-O1000 double-locking recessed tremolo and FRT-O1000 locking nut—simultaneously grooving on the laser-accurate intonation. The two-piece maple neck hosts 22 jumbo frets along with a pair of graphite reinforcement rods to resist bending and warping under environmental stresses. The speed neck profile is designed for lightning-fast playing and completely unhindered position shifts while the comfortably rolled fingerboard edges provide the broken-in feel of an instrument with plenty of playing miles on it, and plenty more to go.
Charvels are designed with style in mind—after all, they call it show business—and the stunning solid top with a transparent finish and curves in all the right places is sure to dazzle the audience's eyes. A Charvel neck plate, branded die-cast tuning machines and standard strap buttons complete the package, topped off with a spotlight-ready finish that shrugs off the rigors of the road. Ready to spawn waves of sonic bliss, and able to keep up with the most demanding playing, the Pro-Mod San Dimas Style 1 2H FR is a guitar that will stand the tests of time and stage.

Better than it should be!
Just a beautiful instrument all around. Very surprised at the quality level for a MIM guitar. With the coil tapping and Floyd Rose you have an endless pallet of sounds that you can get from this guitar. It plays and sounds terrific. I have loved Charvels since the 80's but never owned one until now. The two-piece maple neck is thin but not too thin. It is a little wider at the nut than a typical strat which is nice for solo playing. The finish is impeccable! Love the curly maple top. I love how Charvel listened to the complaints from players about the volume knob being too close to the bridge pickup and moved it back a little. This was always my reason for not buying a San Dimas for years! The only issue that I have found was that the 4 screws that hold the neck on were not tight enough. The neck actually moved slightly. Once tightened the issue was resolved. I have an American G&L Legacy(strat) and a Gibson Les Paul Classic Custom and I love this Charvel more than the G&L and equal to the LP! If you are considering this guitar do not hesitate. They are backordered everywhere right now but are definitely worth the wait!

Mine was a dud
Ordered online and had sent to a local GC. Guitar looked good and played well. Lots of good features. However my guitar had cracks in the neck pocket. I asked if this was shipping damage and the associate told me it's "common" with Charvel and Jackson. I returned it promptly, it never left the store.

Perfect setup right out of the box.

This guitar is fantastic! The setup is the best I have ever seen straight out of the box, which is especially rare for floyd equipped guitars. The only thing I didn't care for is the JB in the bridge, which is just a personal preference thing of course.I swapped the bridge pickups for my favorite; a Bill and Becky Lawrence l-500XL. It plays great, sounds great and stays in tune. What else can you ask for?
Great guitar, should've got the DK 24 with Floyd though

Pros: Neck feels amazing Coil spit delivers great tones Floyd Rose stays in tune great Sounds amazing Get lots of compliments about it Cons: The one thing I wish I knew before buying this is the "Extra Jumbo" frets. They're too darn huge and I often wish I knew that before buying this. The block where the neck is bolted on is huge and playing passed the 17th fret is tough. The pickup switch has a "dead spot" when switching so it's possible to go silent when moving the switch. I wish I tried the DK 24 HH FR before buying this because I feel that I would've been way more satisfied. Overall it's a great guitar. I love mine to death, but yeah beware of the cons if looking at this.
Exellent guitar for the money.

Had a tiny 1/16" crack in the finish in the heel, but it didn't concern me at all as this guitar sounded so good and heel cracks in the finish are very common and cosmetic only under close scrutiny. This guitar was solid, the Floyd rose was way better than I expected, just needed a drop of oil on the fine tuners as they were fresh threads. Normally, I can't stand JB & 59 pickups but they sound great in this guitar. Neck is perfect and one of the best feeling necks I own. The high strings are away from the edge of the fretboard like I prefer so they don't pull off easy. Chlorine burst is just beautiful and the whole thing is very well built for a production line guitar, no issues.

I owned a mid 80s Charvel San Dimas hand made by The legend himself Wayne Charvel .I cut my teeth on it back in the hay day of Hard Rock unfortunately I lost it in the fires in Paradise Ca. awhile back so I replaced it with the Pro-Modified San Dimas The White one with The S.D / JB Twin Zebra Humbuckers and a Finely tuned Floyd Rose locking system Trem. Take my advice Rockers By this one it's The one to take you to the top of your game .
No bag or case for expensive guitar.

Guitar is great ton of fun to play. The stability of the Floyd Rose was better than expected. Fret work was great. Overall great craftsmanship. It needed a set up out of the box. Just really needed the action lowered. It was pretty high for some reason. The look is amazing and the sound is right there with it.
